About The Well Read Society
For readers who love books and all the fun that comes with them.
The Well Read Society is a bookish corner for mood readers, overflowing TBRs, and anyone who knows that choosing what to read next is sometimes half the adventure.
Reader Profile No. 01
Hi, I’m Kate.
I’m the mood reader behind The Well Read Society. I created this place because my TBR is always growing, my reading mood changes without warning, and I wanted choosing what to read next to feel a little more fun.
Happiest with fall weather, a hazelnut latte, and a really good book.
What You’ll Find Here
There’s more to reading than finishing the book.
The Well Read Society is a place to discover what to read, celebrate the stories you love, and connect with other readers who understand the joy—and occasional chaos—of a growing TBR.
Choose by Mood
Browse curated shelves for romance, romantasy, comforting stories, sharp banter, plot twists, and books that might completely ruin you—in the best way.
Tackle Your TBR
Let the TBR Matchmaker give you a playful prompt when your Kindle books, BookTok saves, library holds, and physical shelves leave you with too many choices.
Make It Bookish
Creative bookish projects, fun bookmarks, reading-journal inspiration, printable trackers, and other little extras that make your reading life even more fun.
Join the Book Club
An online gathering for mood readers to talk about books, read together, share recommendations, and discover what everyone is loving next.
Come see what’s on my nightstand.
The Well Read Society isn’t just about book lists. I’m reading right alongside you.
Peek at what I’m reading and listening to right now, then head over to the reading calendar to see what I’ve recently finished and what’s actually making it off my TBR.

Notes From the Society
A few things
we believe
around here.
There’s no one right way to be a reader here. Just more ways to find, enjoy, and talk about the books that make reading fun.
-
My TBR isn’t a commitment. It’s a collection of possibilities.
-
Choosing a book because the cover was pretty is completely allowed.
-
Reading journals can be carefully decorated, wonderfully messy, or simply a list of books you loved.
-
Finishing the book is only part of the fun. Talking about it, rating it, and recommending it count too.
-
Buying books and reading books are two related—but entirely separate—hobbies.
-
The right bookmark matters. I don’t make the rules.
A few extras for after the last page.
The WRS Library is where I keep the free printable extras that make reading—and talking about books—a little more fun.
You’ll find book club guides, reading reflections, and other useful little things made for readers who aren’t quite done with a book just because they finished it.
